Blue Gallagher returned to the side on Saturday and showed his class to grab the Greene King Man of the Match Award.
Having been absent for a number of games through injury, the Lilywhites have missed their talismanic midfielder and Blue took no time whatsoever in reminding the Lowfield faithful of what a key figure he is for the side.
Presenting the award to Blue in the clubhouse after the game, committee member Lee Kelsey commented 'having an enforced 4 week break has probably helped some of the injured lads get some recuperation time without missing a lot of fixtures. That said, Blue has been out for a long period of time and although maybe not yet fully match fit, he showed today just what a great player he is for the team, and an even greater miss when he is out. It was a joy to see him back this afternoon and long may it continue...'
Blue was a key figure in the 1-1 home draw to Southend Manor and ultimately had a hand in the equalising goal, delivering the corner that Connor Bolton scored from.
