Left Back Puts In Sterling Performance To Claim Prize

'As a defender, you can be many shapes and sizes. You can be short and fast. Or you can be tall and jump high. It doesn't matter. The only necessity is that you are confident when you take to the pitch, because every week there is a new challenge...'
- Fabio Cannavaro - Italy

Hadley Richards put in a fantastic shift during Saturday's home game against Park View and was voted Greene King Man of the Match as a result.

In a game that Hoddesdon dominated for large parts, a 1-1 draw was, in the end, a disappointing result for the Lilywhites, having spurned multiple chances to put the game to bed early on.

That said, Richards caught the eye at the back, making strong challenges on more than one occasion, and helping to link defence and midfield to create opportunities for his side. With 19 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, Hadley is becoming an important member of Simon Riddle's squad and is growing in stature every week.
