Friday Night Football At Lowfield

We have an action packed weekend coming up at Lowfield and it all starts on Friday evening, as our tenants OIR FC host Hertford Heath in Herts County League Premier Division action.

Kicking off at 7:45pm, OIR and Hertford Heath are fairly close to each other in the league table and so it is sure to be a hotly contested game. Just four points separate the sides with the visitors occupying 8th place and OIR in 11th. Both sides have lost five games so far this season and will be desperate to avoid a 6th.

We got to have a good look at OIR FC on Tuesday evening as our first team hosted them in a midweek friendly, and there was plenty of talent on show for both sides, in what was an excellent run out for both sides. Adnan Jaamac is the OIR top goalscorer so far this season, with four goals in eight appearances, and he will be keen to add to that tally. For Hertford Heath, Zack Abdelhamid has an impressive six in fifteen games with Liam Smith not far behind with five in eleven.

Away from the pitch, we also have LIVE Premier League Football on our big screens inside the clubhouse, with Leicester v Nottingham Forest kicking off at 8pm.

As ever, the bar and tea bar will be open throughout the evening, serving hot and cold refreshments. At the bar, Lowfield 365 members will enjoy up to 20% off their round of drinks.

Entry to the game is Adults £5 and Concessions £3.

Then on Sunday, two of our Youth Teams are due to play, as they host Knebworth Under 17 Lions and Tigers at 10am and 12:30pm respectively, with even more Live football on the tv.
